The successful graduate of the Master’s programme should be able to:

search, process and analyze professionally important knowledge from various sources using modern information and communication technologies
be able to organize and conduct scientific and pedagogical research

develop educational materials and programs, implement them, receive feedback, evaluate quality

Programme requirements (ECTS credits)

In accordance with the Standard on higher education set for the programme Pedagogy in Higher Education (Master’s Degree), 90 ECTS credits are awarded in total. The curriculum of the programme Management of the educational institution (Master’s Degree) includes: mandatory courses (43.5 ECTS credits, including Course paper – 1 ECTS credit), elective courses (22.5 ECTS credits). Internship – 9 ECTS credits. Master’s thesis – 15 ECTS credits

the ratio of credits between parts of the programme may vary slightly from year to year.

General goal of the study programme “Pedagogy in Higher Education” (Educational, Pedagogical Sciences. Master’s Degree) is training a specialists capable of solving complex tasks and problems in the process of professional activity in the field of higher education, providing for the application in practice of modern methods and forms of teaching, the implementation of independent scientific and pedagogical activities and research.

The programme’s educational goals are designed to:

provide training of Masters in Pedagogy in Higher Education in accordance with the needs of the labour market regarding forming competencies and improvement of quality with the help of educational innovations;
training of a highly qualified specialist, able to professionally apply in practice modern pedagogical forms, methods and techniques;
formation of competencies and abilities to use the acquired knowledge and skills in professional (teaching, educational, educational, research, analytical, consulting, communicative, organizational and methodological) activities;

formation of readiness to solve topical problems of pedagogical science and educational practice.
